Some of the most important companies of the next decade will be built by transforming the physical systems we depend on every day energy, buildings, mobility and industry. I'm excited to work with founders using software and AI to make those systems more efficient, resilient and scalable.

Rahul is a Partner at 2150, where he invests in companies reshaping the physical world across energy, the built environment, mobility and industry.

He is particularly focused on software and AI businesses that can scale quickly, compound operational advantage over time and deliver meaningful commercial returns and impact in large, real-world markets.

Rahul has been on both sides of the table, having founded and exited a VC-backed company. Before joining 2150, he co-founded EatFirst, which he led as CEO for several years before its acquisition in 2020. Prior to that, Rahul was a Managing Director in Rocket Internet's investment team, where he focused on urban, mobile and on-demand businesses. He began his career at Goldman Sachs, spending eight years as an Executive Director in equity derivatives trading.

Rahul graduated from the University of Cambridge with an M.A. in Economics. His interest in sustainability began while studying the impact of mass urbanisation on living standards in developing economies and deepened after seeing these challenges first-hand during a trip to India in 2007.
