Gemma Shepherd

Gemma has a background in impact investing, chemistry, and policy. Before joining 2150, she worked at Regeneration VC, a climate and circular economy venture fund based in the U.S. Before that, she worked in environmental policy in Kaua'i, Hawai'i, and spent multiple years researching novel polymers as an undergraduate. She is deeply curious and determined to disrupt the status quo.

Gemma received a BSc in Environmental Studies from Yale College with a focus in green chemistry. She also holds a MSc in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from the University of San Francisco. She is a keen skier, cyclist, and runner.
